Dhafer Malouche earned his Ph.D. in Statistics and Applied Mathematics from Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, France in October 1997, and a Master's Degree in Applied from the same university in June 1994. He started his academic professional as Assistant Professor in Sousse in Tunisia. In September 2003, Dhafer then moved to the Higher Engineering School of Statistics of the University of Carthage, where he was successively promoted to Associate-Professor in January 2011, then to Professor in August 2018. He had taught there several statistical courses: Regression Analysis, Time Series, Data Mining, Big Data, Advanced R, Bayesian Statistics. He had supervised five Ph.D. in Applied Statistics. Dhafer has authored and co-authored more than 45 scholar papers in many topics related to applied statistics. On several times he was a visiting scholar in many prestigious colleges located in the US, as well as Canada and France.
